Actuated Medical Announces the Appointment of Two New Board Members
BELLEFONTE, PA – – Actuated Medical, Inc. (AMI) announced the appointment of two new members to the Board of Directors (BOD) – Jim Walker, co-founder and president of Access Strategy Partners, Inc.; and Patricia Rodriquez Christian, president and CEO and founder of CRC Group, Inc.
“We are pleased to welcome Jim and Patricia to our Board,” said Maureen L. Mulvihill, Ph.D., president and CEO of AMI. “The breadth of experience between these two will help guide AMI to the next level. We’re honored to have them join our Team.”
Mr. Walker has more than 30 years of professional experience in Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations and National Accounts management in the medical device industry. He served on Boston Scientific Corporation’s Operating Committee, advising international executives on strategies for managing market globalization and the increasing focus on economic value. Previously, Jim was a Director of Sales at Johnson & Johnson. Prior to founding Access Strategy Partners in 2018, Jim consulted to SMI, an industry collaborative of major U.S. IDN Supply Chain Executives. As a BOD Member, Jim will work with AMI leadership to strengthen our sales and marketing strategies.
Ms. Christian has over 25 years of private and public sector experience. She has restructured and relaunched business models and staffing approaches in the sectors of real estate development, construction, retail and restaurant. She has led the development of infrastructure among several inter-related businesses and pushed profitability by capitalizing and building on non-traditional core competence. An investor in AMI and fellow Women Business Enterprise National Council member, Patricia will work with AMI leadership to develop innovative marketing strategies and connect AMI’s technologies with her business and investor networks.
