Compliance Program and Code of Conduct

Actuated Medical, Inc. has developed a robust compliance program that is designed to meet the seven essential elements of an effective compliance program as described by the Office of Inspector General at the Department of Health & Human Services:

  1. Written policies, procedures, and standards of conduct;
  2. Designating a compliance officer and compliance committee;
  3. Conducting effective training and education;
  4. Developing effective lines of communication;
  5. Enforcement;
  6. Monitoring and auditing; and
  7. Corrective action.

An essential element of Actuated Medical’s mission of improving patient outcomes is to ensure that all employees, officers, and directors adhere to the highest ethical standards in our dealings with health care professionals. In order to achieve and continuously maintain a high level of ethical conduct and compliance, AMI has adopted and rigorously follows the AdvaMed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Health Care Professionals.

Violations to these codes of conduct are taken seriously. Actuated Medical encourages anyone who suspects, witnesses, or is a part of unethical business practices to report them to the Compliance Officer. Retaliation is prohibited against those that file reports in good faith.
