Dr. Gorgun is a highly experienced colorectal surgeon with over 28 years in the field. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He also holds the prestigious Krause-Liederman Chair in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery.

Additionally, he is Director of the Endoluminal Surgery Center, Lower GI. Dr. Gorgun brings a deep passion for surgical innovation and a strong background in clinical practice and education. His expertise makes him a valuable addition to Actuated Medical’s Medical Advisory Board. He is currently leading the first-in-man study of Actuated Medical’s GripTract endoscopic tissue manipulator at Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Gorgun is board-certified in both Colon and Rectal Surgery and General Surgery. He joined Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Colorectal Surgery in 2011. He has published extensively and presented at many conferences. His focus areas include laparoscopic and endoluminal procedures. His clinical background and commitment to surgical advancement will help guide Actuated Medical’s strategy. His contributions will support the company’s mission to improve patient outcomes.
