Dr. Gorgun, a seasoned colorectal surgeon with over 28 years of experience, serves as Vice Chair of the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. He also holds the esteemed Krause-Liederman Chair in Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery and is the Director of the Endoluminal Surgery Center, Lower GI. His passion for advancing surgical innovation, along with his extensive experience in clinical practice and education, makes him a valuable addition to Actuated Medical’s Medical Advisory Board. He is also leading the first in man study on Actuated Medical’s GripTract endoscopic tissue manipulator at Cleveland Clinic.

Board-certified in both Colon and Rectal Surgery and Surgery, Dr. Gorgun joined Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Colorectal Surgery in 2011. He has authored numerous publications and presented at various conferences, emphasizing his expertise in laparoscopic and endoluminal procedures. His clinical experience and commitment to advancing surgical practices will be key in guiding Actuated Medical’s strategic initiatives and enhancing its mission to improve patient outcomes.
